16 | Notizie | California is formally presented California comments Cavallino Staff Ferrari SpA, Arnaud Meunier The new Ferrari California was officially unveiled by Ferrari SpA at the Paris Auto Show on October 2, 2008, with President Luca di Montezemolo and CEO Amedeo Felisa making presentations. However, the car was in effect launched well before that, first on the internet as Ferrari made a concession to new generations of customers and fans and the manner by which they communicate. |
20 | Notizie | Ferrari Factory modernises and expands A new phase of Ferrari's "Formula Uomo" project is presented Ferrari SpA The latest chapter of an ongoing program that has consumed Ferrari SpA for close to eleven years now - the "Formula Uomo", or "Formula Man" to translate it very loosely. It is difficult to capture the idea behind all this from such a clever although elusive "designation" but the thrust of the program was to improve the general facilities at Ferrari, both to become more efficient as a manufacturer but also to improve the working life of the employees as well. |
23 | Notizie | Geneva Classic 2008 lives up to its initial success Geneva Classic - Geneva, Switzerland - October 3-5, 2008 Etienne Vanaret Hugues Vanhoolandt The third edition of the Geneva Classic was held at the Palexpo, and this gathering, devoted to all forms of transportation from yesteryear - classic cars, motorcycles, boats, aircrafts - attracted some 20,000+ visitors. This represents an increase of 20% over last year's visitor count. This success is even more remarkable given the fact that the 2008 show was one day shorter than the previous two years. |
23 | Notizie | Dino Rendezvous Hans Rahn Courtesy Ferrari Dino Owners Club Switzerland The Ferrari Dino Owners Club Switzerland is an enthusiastic group of friends known for their interesting and eventful meetings To celebrate bering 30 years old this year, they had a perfect reason to do something very outstanding: A five day special motoring holiday in June, at a place where the early Ferrari Dino Grand Prix race cars were very successful in the late sixties, the ancient Grand Prix Circuit at Reims-Gueux. |

No these are the nine Ferraris that come with the best possible pedigree because, on their résumés, it says "Le Mans winner". The disappearance first of Clay Regazzoni was a real shock to all motor sports enthusiasts, so much was this pleasant Swiss driver appreciated by all. 66 | Historica | Who's on First - two Ferraris come to America An investigation of the first Ferrari to make landfall Michael T. Lynch Smith Hempstone Oliver, Courtesy Angelo Tito Anselmi, Courtesy Robert M. Lee Trust Collection From the arrival of the first Ferrari to be imported into America, the enthusiast press has often misstated which car it was. Before we sort through the evidence, it's worth a quick review of the man who was responsible for placing the first two Ferraris to be sold to American buyers. During the 1930s, Italian born Luigi Chinetti was living in Paris. He had been uncomfortable with political developments in Italy and moved to France as Alfa Romeo's representative there. |
